Take a moment to read our story. My great grandfather originally started the JSL Construction company as a blacksmith. It was subsequently passed down to John Stanley Leake who also worked as a blacksmith. When his son David was old enough, he started working alongside his father, learning the business from the ground up. It was around this time that building development began to move away from tr

aditional timber frames to steel frames. As blacksmiths who were used to metalwork, customers began to ask us to make steel frames, which we did, and the business became suppliers of steel buildings. David and Mark run JSL together, and with over 50 years of experience, they are specialists in the design, manufacture, and supply of steel-framed buildings for agriculture, commercial services, equestrian and general storage.
