1st Floor Done | Brentwood Care Home

Good progress on this Brentwood care home project this week.

Yesterday was a great example of how efficient the team can be. 900m2 of screed pumped and laid by 1.30pm, expertly supplied by ready2pour_ltd , which kept the project on schedule.

Each floor is around 900m², and we’re delivering the full prep, underfloor heating and screed package, UFH planned and supplied by tradeunderfloor .

While the this floor cures, the lads are already prepping and piping the next floor ready for pour number two next week.

Big projects like this are great to be proud of, but every job matters to us. Whether it’s a single 20m2 room or 900m² floors, the goal is always the same: provide excellent customer service, and do the job properly. Give the customers a reason to keep coming back for more.

Nice little levelling job completed in Nottingham this week.

A lot of our posts tend to focus on the larger commercial job we undertake across the region, because the photos and numbers can sound exciting, but smaller domestic work is just as important to us. Smaller residential jobs often slot neatly into the calendar, helping us keep the team moving while delivering our high service level.

This was carefully prepared with a liquid DPM and a heavy quartz sand scatter. Once fully cured, the surface was vacuumed before our team installed tekcem 550 screed, leaving a super smooth, level finish ready for the floor layers.

Extra attention to cleanliness and site care was essential on this one. The property was in a very nice area of Nottingham, with brand new driveways and external works just completed, so our team took extra precautions to protect the surroundings and work respectfully in the customer’s home.

The result was a beautiful, clean finish — and a very happy customer.
