We’re pleased to be supporting this fantastic fundraising initiative from the NSBRC ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup ⚽

What is a Principal Designer, and do you need one?

If you’re undertaking building work that carries a risk of injury, a Principal Designer may need to be appointed. Their role is to plan, manage and coordinate health and safety during the design phase of a project, helping to identify and reduce risks before work begins on site.

Another great couple of days at The National Self Build & Renovation Show 👏

Jane and Rob spent the show hosting one-to-one sessions with visitors, while Rob also spoke at the Sustainability Theatre sharing insight into sustainable building and renovation.

This Grade II listed cottage renovation involved a full refurbishment to transform the property and prepare it for new tenants.

CLPM supported the project from tender through to completion, overseeing the works in the role of Contract Administrator.

The refurbishment included a new damp course, full rewiring and plumbing upgrades, a new kitchen and bathroom, improved heating and lighting systems, alongside full internal and external redecoration.

A great transformation for a character property in need of careful restoration.
