Attended a Call out last week of a weird fishy smell around the clients electric shower.

Upon opening up the isolator switch…this is what I found.

This is the outcome of a loose connection.

Another Full Rewire completed here at DRN ✅

Occupied Rewires are always tricky as it’s compulsory to keep certain circuits on for clients so they can survive whilst you are carrying out the work.

A fully new installation with smoke alarms and fully tested. Abit of outdoor pipework to contain some outside lighting…All resulting in one happy customer.

Happy New Year All!

A few pictures of the Re-wire we completed in Harrow just before the break.

A before and after photo of an extremely old Fuse Board of around 30/40 years old. To a brand new FuseBox RCBO Board with a Surge Protection Device.

All tested and compliant with current regulations.

If you have an old Fuse Board like this then it may be an idea to get in touch with an electrician to see if your install needs updating.

Monday - Storming into the week on the front foot.

4 x Spotlights changed over to new modernised Warm White JCC Fireguards.
2 old Smoke alarms replaced with new Aico Smokes and an Outside socket added for the client to enjoy some outside leisure in the summer.

One from Saturday morning 🌤️

Client had been operating with 2 faulty dimmer switches for quite some time. Extremely annoying, having to hit them with considerable force to turn on. Simple fix replacing with like for like 2 gang dimmers in a brushed steel.

Also my client had concerns over her smoke old smoke alarm system. Old smokes were battery operated meaning no supply cables were at the fittings. Upgraded her with a brand new set of Aico InterLink Battery Operated Smoke Alarms on each floor. All with a 10 year guaranteed battery life.

Even if you have small Electrical jobs like these around the house - I would be more than happy to help.

Recent:

Installed 2 x Wall Lights, A Security Light in the centre of the doors that can be activated to scare off trespassers. Spike Lights in front of the decking to give the end of the garden more character.

I love working with Phillips Hue, high end technology that you can control from your phone. Aswell as a bonus of using whatever colour you like!

Hi all…its been a while!

After 8 months of experiencing a different challenge and a different line of work. I am delighted to say I have returned to my roots and am starting up DRN Electrical once again!

Please expect much more content as I try and grow the business within the coming years.
