And just like that our glorious summer has been & gone in what feels like a flash 😊
Throughout the last 5 weeks I have been entrusted to carry out a major remodelling of a kitchen / diner whilst my clients were on holiday for the majority of the time, a huge responsibility
Firstly we removed the existing back door & blocked it up as well as removing the window from the dining room & replacing it with new uPVC French doors
A complete re-wire & re-plumbing was completed
We then plastered all necessary areas & fitted gyproc coving
Once the floor had been prepared & self levelled we installed a visually stunning Wren kitchen
The kitchen is finished in sumptuous Porcelain white doors, end panels & ornate crown moulding cornice with oak colour cabinets
The incredible quartz worktops & upstands are white with golden veins running through them, absolutely gorgeous
The cleaning duties are carried out by the beautifully retro Belfast sink, integrated dishwasher, washing machine & tumble dryer whilst cooking is ably assisted by the integrated cooker, microwave & induction hob, all finished in black.
All handles & the awesome tap are finished in burnt gold
An integrated double bin is also fitted
The awesome double fridge freezer keeps everything fresh whilst housed in its own area
Storage is never going to be an issue with the addition of the very On-Point corner larder unit, a single unit that provides a walk-in abundance of shelves & a w**e rack lit by a motion sensored light
As well as the all cupboards there are the large drawers with the biggest cutlery drawer available
To conceal the boiler & pipe work we built a fantastic matching boiler housing
The addition of a new stunning black kitchen door really complements the new kitchen
The “ Pièce de résistance “ is the fabulous oak herringbone floor that flows flawlessly throughout the new kitchen & dining room, truly spectacular
We then cut & fixed new large Torus skirtings
All lighting is provided by new LED ceiling downlighting & a beautiful chandelier
The transformation is incredible & this new living space is perfect for creating those Gordon Ramsey delicacies, crazy breakfast times or entertaining friends for many years to come 😉
