New contract award! 📃🖊️👐🏽

We're delighted to announce that, following the quality of our work delivered on Phase B, we have now been awarded the decoration contract for Phase A at the former Zanzibar nightclub in Newport, comprising a further 23 new-build affordable apartments.

Securing this additional phase is a fantastic endorsement of our commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship, reliability and attention to detail throughout the project.

This prestigious development will ultimately provide 37 affordable apartments while preserving the historic Grade II listed façade of the former Zanzibar nightclub, combining Newport's rich heritage with much-needed modern housing.

We'd like to thank our client P&P Builders for their continued confidence in our team. We look forward to starting Phase A and delivering the same high standards that led to this latest contract award.

Another project completed! 🎉

We're delighted to have successfully completed the tiling and decorating works on this fantastic development in Fishguard. What was once the Ship & Anchor is now Angorfa - 12 high-quality, energy-efficient one-bedroom apartments for people aged 55 and over.

This project marks our first opportunity to work alongside Jones Brothers (Henllan) Ltd and it has been a pleasure to be part of such an important development. We'd like to thank the entire team for their professionalism and collaboration throughout the project.

We're excited that this is just the beginning of what we hope will be a long and successful working relationship. We’re now looking forward to starting works on the Priory Street development in Carmarthen in the coming weeks.

A huge thank you also goes to our own team for their commitment and dedication. Travelling the distance to Fishguard and consistently delivering work to the highest standard is a testament to their hard work and professionalism, we couldn't be prouder of their efforts.

New Client/Project Award - Charles Street, Milford Haven 🏗️

We’re delighted to announce that RYDEC has been awarded the painting and decorating & tiling contract by WB Griffiths & Son Limited for their exciting new residential development at Charles Street, Milford Haven.

The project, being delivered in partnership with Pembrokeshire County Council, will provide 24 sheltered accommodation apartments within a new five-storey development, including communal residents’ lounges, on-site parking and landscaped outdoor spaces.

We’ve recently had the opportunity to visit site and were very impressed with the organisation, professionalism and way the project is being managed. It’s clear that a great deal of thought and attention to detail is going into the development, and we’re really looking forward to becoming part of the team. Construction is progressing well, with the structural steel frame completed earlier this year and the development continuing to take shape ahead of its planned completion in 2027. Mistcoats will commence later in the year.

We’re proud to be appointed by W.B. Griffiths and look forward to working alongside the wider project team to deliver high-quality painting and decorating works on this important development.

This is a great opportunity for us to continue building strong relationships with new clients and contribute to another important housing project in West Wales.

🎉 4 YEARS OF RYDEC! 🎉

Four years ago, RYDEC started with a van, some tools, a vision and the determination to make it work.

No big contracts. No established customer base. No guarantees.

Just hard work, commitment and a belief that we could build something special. 🚀

Fast forward four years, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far we’ve come.

From starting with residential work and building our reputation one project at a time, RYDEC now has a dedicated and growing team, our own headquarters, branded vehicles and multiple projects running across the country.

And we’re not standing still.

This year alone, we’ve strengthened the team with a Contracts Manager, Quantity Surveyor and a Quality Control Officer, while expanding our services to include boarding and dry lining for selected clients alongside the painting, decorating and tiling work we’re known for.

It hasn’t always been easy. There have been challenges, mistakes, stressful days and sleepless nights.

But every challenge has made us better. Every setback has taught us something. And every year has helped shape RYDEC into the business it is today.

For us, success isn’t just about growth.

It’s about the reputation we’ve built, the relationships with our clients, the trust of repeat customers and the standards we continue to hold ourselves to.

Most importantly, it’s about our team — the people who turn up every day and give their best on every project. 💙

We're delighted to announce a new partnership with Hopgrove Construction after being awarded the decorating contract for Riverside Vets in Abergavenny.

Mistcoats are due to commence in approximately two weeks and we're looking forward to delivering another high-quality finish.

New Contract Award 📜🖊️🤝

We're delighted to announce another contract award with our long-standing client P&P Builders.

Our team has been awarded the decorations and tiling contract for the new affordable housing development on Manor Way, Abersychan being delivered by P&P in partnership with Bron Afon Community Housing.

The development will transform the site through the demolition of existing buildings and the construction of 10 high-quality affordable homes comprising:
🏡 4 x 2-bedroom houses
🏡 5 x 1-bedroom flats
🏡 1 x 2-bedroom flat

We're proud to continue supporting P&P on another successful project and look forward to working alongside the wider project team to help bring this important development to completion.

PROJECT UPDATE 👷🚧⏳

Works are progressing on the redevelopment of 9–22 Moira Terrace, Adamsdown and we're pleased to share the latest update from site. Our team has now successfully completed tiling works and mistcoating to approximately 70% of the first and second floor apartments, keeping the project firmly on programme.

It's great to see this Grade II listed Victorian building continuing its transformation, with the new apartments really starting to take shape. We're proud to be playing our part in delivering this fantastic redevelopment alongside Yourspace Projects and Cardiff Community Housing Association.

A big thank you to our site team for their continued hard work and commitment to maintaining the high standards we pride ourselves on.

New Contract Award 📜🖊️🤝

We are delighted to have been awarded the painting and tiling contract for this exciting project for our client Yourspace Projects.

Callaghan House, conveniently situated next door to our existing project at Moira Terrace, served as Cardiff Community Housing Association's main office from 2002 to 2022 before being occupied by Welsh Women's Aid. It is now being redeveloped into six new energy-efficient homes with landscaped gardens. The development will deliver three 3-bedroom apartments and three 2-bedroom apartments helping to provide much-needed high-quality homes in a central area of the city.

A big thank you once again to the the team at YSP for the opportunity to work on this transformation project. We look forward to working alongside the team once again and playing our part in bringing this fantastic development to life.

New Contract Award📝🤝

The greatest compliment in our industry is repeat business. Following the quality of work delivered thus far and the strong relationships built at Ship & Anchor, Fishguard, we are proud to have secured a second contract with Jones Brothers (Henllan) Ltd.

Our team has been appointed to deliver the decoration package for an exciting new residential development in Carmarthen, transforming the former Lidl supermarket site on Priory Street into much needed housing for the local community.

This development on behalf of Wales & West Housing will provide 49 modern apartments for people aged 55 and over, designed across four x two and three storey blocks surrounding a split-level communal courtyard garden. Residents will benefit from dedicated parking, private decked access to each apartment and attractive garden views.

We are grateful to continue working alongside Jones Brothers and Wales & West Housing on a project that will create high-quality homes and make a positive contribution to the community.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in helping us secure this opportunity.
