🚉 Great to see the completed accessibility upgrades at Dunkeld & Birnam Station officially marked this week!
CPR completed a contract to deliver key improvements on behalf of Network Rail, helping to make the station safer, more accessible and more welcoming for passengers, residents and visitors.
The works included a new access ramp to Platform 2, resurfaced footpaths, improvements to Birnam Glen Road.
Beyond the civils works, the team also assisted a range of community-focused enhancements around the station.
From new seating areas and improved parking bays to colourful murals by local school children and improved planting, it’s fantastic to see the project delivering benefits beyond the platforms.
Our Managing Director William Black attended the completion event alongside Scotland’s First Minister John Swinney, Network Rail, ScotRail and representatives from the local community.
A big thank you to everyone involved in bringing this important Access for All project to life.

Big news for CPR Scotland!

We’re proud to announce that Complete Paving Requirements (Scotland) Ltd has been appointed as sole supplier on Network Rail’s Scotland-wide Surfacing Framework.

With a potential value of up to £39 million, this is a fantastic achievement for our Renton-based team and a proud moment for everyone at CPR.
The framework will support surfacing and civil engineering works across Scotland’s railway infrastructure, from platforms and stations to footpaths, car parks and more.
This award reflects the hard work, skill and commitment of our team, with more than 85% of our workforce living locally.
A huge thank you to our team, partners and clients for their continued support. We’re excited to play our part in supporting Scotland’s rail network.

On Monday, June 24th, CPR’s head office team held a presentation to recognise three local schools for their outstanding efforts at the Run Loch Lomond Fun Run. As the gold sponsor of the event, the Company wanted to award the children for their performance.

Well done to everyone who participated with a special mention to Gartocharn Primary, Christie Park Primary and Balloch Primary who took home the winning shields. Second year in a row for both Gartocharn & Balloch Primary!

The CPR team had the pleasure of attending the Scottish Transport Awards on Thursday the 20th June. CPR were nominated for the Excellence in Transport Accessibility for our access improvement works at Cardonald Railway Station. Although we did not win the award, it was an honour to be nominated.

Great Opportunity for an HGV Mechanic in Dumbarton.

We are seeking an experienced and qualified HGV Mechanic to take over our fully kitted workshop here in our Depot in Dumbarton on day shift.

There is lots of overtime available, the support of an admin team and a vehicle/ pension/ competitive salary and funded training on offer.

If you have over 5 years experience, great interpersonal skills and a desire to run your own workshop in a dynamic and growing business, we want to hear from you.
