Did we make good progress installing our latest bookcase? Of course.

Did we spend half the day talking nonsense? Absolutely.

Oh, and did we book the next golf day while we were at it? Also yes. I’d say that’s a productive Friday.

Behind the carpentry: here’s what April looked like

1. Kicked things off with Project East Grinstead.
2. First piece installed. What a beauty.
3. Worked closely with our decorator since he moved in. Probably too closely.
4. Thanks to , we powered through a lot of cut lists.
5. Our workshop looked like this. Start of the next alcove unit build.
6. Lost a bit of time just admiring the spray finish coming through.
7. Golden hour at HQ looked like this.
8. Drawers. Lots of drawers.
9. Designed and locked in the next 14 projects.
10. Turned 41. Apparently that’s not a valid reason for a day off.

April moved quickly with a lot happening in the workshop and on site. May, let’s see what you’ve got.
