John will be joining industry leaders in the “Home Safe and Well Across the Highways Sector” session.

The session will explore how customers, Tier 1 contractors and the wider supply chain can work together to embed ownership and strengthen leadership accountability to help ensure everyone working on or using the road network gets home safe and well.

Main construction is underway at A46 Walsgrave. 🚧

Following the successful delivery of A46 Binley Junction, Octavius is now delivering the Walsgrave Junction upgrade for National Highways: West Midlands.

The scheme will replace the existing at-grade roundabout with a new grade-separated junction, including a new overbridge, slip roads and improved local connections — helping to improve safety, traffic flow and journey reliability.

The two-year programme is part of the wider A46 Coventry Junctions programme.

🦺Did you know our A46 Walsgrave improvements scheme is now under way? We’ve started work to upgrade the junction, improve safety and create more reliable journeys for everyone using this busy stretch of the A46 in Coventry.

🚧As the project progresses, there’ll be some overnight closures (8pm-6am, Mondays to Fridays) over the coming weeks so our teams can safely carry out essential work:

🟩5 to 9 October: A46 northbound between Walsgrave and M6 junction 2 closed
🟩19 to 30 October: A46 southbound between M6 J2 and Walsgrave closed

➡️When the roads are closed, clearly signed diversions will be in place, so you’ll still be able to get to where you need to go.
