A bit of Cornish drizzle wasn’t going to stop play this morning! 🌧️🌿
The clients were champing at the bit to finally get things moving on this long-neglected outside space, so I got stuck in to start opening up some much-needed access.
Still very much a work in progress, but a solid morning's graft made a proper dent. The customers were brilliant—thoroughly relieved to have the job underway despite the damp weather, yes, it's that time of year again! Thankfully they were more than happy with the progress so far.
On to the next stage! ✂️🌱
A gentle nod as well: if you’re looking for a hand with your own outside space, I do have a few very limited slots available, over the next couple of months.

🔥 What a week! 🔥

A very long, hot and sticky end to an incredibly busy week here at Elderflowers Gardening! 🌿☀️
Some days you genuinely never know what you're going to be doing until you arrive on site… and today was definitely one of those days!
I’m completely stacked out at the moment, but I do have some extremely, and I mean EXTREMELY, limited availability moving forward into the autumn 🍂
So, if your outside space needs a bit of attention, please get in touch ASAP before those few remaining spaces disappear.
And a massive thank you to all of my regular customers for being so amazing, supportive and understanding over the past few weeks. It’s been a particularly difficult time personally, and your patience, kindness and continued support really has meant a lot.
Right… feet up, cold drink, and hopefully a slightly less hectic weekend! 🍺

Hey folks! Just popping in with a quick update from Elderflowers Gardening Services 🧑🏻‍🌾
Still here, still working hard! I’ve stopped posting regular job updates because—believe it or not—I’m fully booked up, solid right now! If you’re thinking ahead to the autumn season (looking at you, October...), I have just a couple of slots left. So if you need a hand then, give me a shout in advance.
Lastly, a massive shout out to all of my regular customers who continue to keep me piled up with work, week after week. Despite a recent price increase, I continue to be blown away by the trust and appreciation you guys place in me. It's truly appreciated. On top of which, it's lovely to see the hard work and dedication I put in, keeping your gardens looking tip top. Stay green, everyone! 🌿

What a week it's been, here at Elderflowers Gardening Services 🌿💪

From planting bright, colourful marigolds and bringing flower beds back to life, to taking on some truly beastly conifer hedges that didn't want to give up without a fight, it's been a week full of hard work and plenty of satisfaction. Add in lawn cuts, garden tidy-ups, and everything in between, and it's safe to say the diary has been packed to the rafters!

I just wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to all of my customers, both regular and new. The continued support, recommendations, and trust you place in me to look after your gardens is something I never take for granted.

Running a small business isn't always easy, but being able to spend my days helping people create and maintain outdoor spaces they can enjoy makes it all worthwhile. I'm genuinely grateful for every enquiry, every booking, and every kind word along the way.

Now for a well-earned rest before doing it all again next week! ☕

That’s a wrap! 🌿 🎬
A real hands-on Friday to finish the week. Started the day down on my knees tackling a gravel area and getting right into the finer details, removing lots of weeds and grass. Then I spent the afternoon continuing work on a raised section before carefully cutting back ivy from a Cornish hedge to make it properly stand out again.
A painstaking one in places, working in amongst it all with clippers and by hand, but I think the results paid off.

A few highlights from this week so far at Elderflowers Gardening 🌿
One little job I was especially pleased with involved creating a solid base for a lovely loveseat bench using four slabs. The idea was to keep the wooden feet protected and off the damp grass, but with the lawn being very uneven and lumpy, it took a fair bit of patience to get everything sitting level and looking right...
Really pleased with the finished result though, and even better, the customers were over the moon with it.
A massive thank you to all my customers for your continued support and business this week. It genuinely means a lot to a small local business like mine. Although it’s never a nice feeling having to turn down several new enquiries simply because I’ve got no space left available at the moment, I’m incredibly grateful to be kept so busy 🌿🙏🏻
Just a couple of smaller jobs left tomorrow before another week of muddy boots and mower stripes is done and dusted 💤🙌🏻

Another packed week for Elderflowers Gardening 🌿
Lawns rescued from the jungle, hedges whipped back into shape, borders tidied, weeds evicted with extreme prejudice, and plenty of happy customers along the way...
Massive thanks to everyone keeping me fuelled with cups of tea, biscuits, and “while you’re here…” jobs that somehow turn into full-scale garden expeditions!
It’s been one of those weeks where the van comes home looking like it's survived a botanical war zone, but seeing customers pleased with the results makes every aching muscle worth it.
Very grateful for the continued support, recommendations, and repeat work. Elderflowers Gardening keeps rolling on! 🙏🏻💪🏻💥

What a week! 🌿
It’s been absolutely flat out from start to finish, but I’ve genuinely loved every minute of it. There’s nothing better than getting properly stuck into a mix of jobs and seeing everything come together.
A big thank you to all my lovely clients this week — not just for trusting me with your gardens, but for all the coffees, biscuits, and general kindness along the way. It honestly doesn’t go unnoticed and definitely keeps me going on those long days! ☕🍪
I’m now very much looking forward to a slightly longer weekend… mainly so I can remember what sitting down feels like again 😄
Massive thanks as always for your continued support and custom — it really does mean a lot. Just a quick heads up as well, I’m currently fully booked with no availability at the moment, but I’ll keep everyone posted as soon as any spaces open up.

Just a quick one from your friendly neighbourhood garden man 🌿
A gentle reminder that when it comes to green waste (branches, hedge cuttings, grass etc.), there are rules I have to follow as a business. As tempting as it might be, I can’t just “tuck it round the back” in a lane or pass it over to the neighbour and hope for the best — that falls under fly-tipping, and that’s a headache I’m definitely not signing up for!
All waste has to be disposed of properly and legally, which sometimes means factoring in a bit of extra time and cost when booking work in.

Had one today where we cut back overhanging branches (within the legal limits), but the waste couldn’t just be left in the lane or handed off next door. It’s one of those things that needs to be agreed properly or taken away.
I always aim to keep everything tidy, straightforward, and above board — no dodgy pile-ups in mystery corners!
If you’re ever unsure about waste removal, just give me a shout — happy to chat it through 😊
