🚨 ANOTHER LEAKING ROOF PUT RIGHT IN ORPINGTON! 🔨
Here’s a recent porch roof we completed after the customer had previously had roofing work carried out to try and stop a leak.
Unfortunately, the previous repair had not been completed correctly, meaning the roof was still leaking. The leadwork had been incorrectly installed, and different replacement tiles had been used which didn’t properly match or fit the existing tiles.
Rather than simply patching the problem again, we stripped the roof back and carried out the work properly.
✅ Removed all existing tiles, felt and battens
✅ Installed new breathable roofing felt
✅ Installed new 25mm x 50mm treated timber battens
✅ Every tile securely fixed using the correct-size tiling nails
✅ Installed 12-inch Code 4 lead flashing with a 150mm lap over the tiles
✅ Verge and ridge tiles bedded using a 3:1 sand and cement mix
✅ Finished to provide a watertight, durable roof
