Finished the year with a bang in Stratford-upon-Avon!

This one was a bit of a challenge!

Hacking off old plaster, new stud work for a wall and under the stairs, running pipes for a new radiator, and relocating sockets and the thermostat. Then onto boarding and plastering, and now with a fresh coat of paint, the hallway transformation is unreal! 🤩
(Socket & thermostat have now been fitted)

Big shoutout to Mercian Plumbing and Heating and Solarasis Electrical (Paul) for nailing their parts too!

Had the pleasure of working for some amazing clients who initially wanted their ceilings skimmed. However upon inspection re boarding was the only option! This meant removing the old lath and plaster and re-boarding, which unfortunately meant losing some of the house's original character, including some of the ceiling roses and coving.

Knowing how much the homeowner loved those ceiling roses, I took the damaged one home repaired it and gave it a fresh coat of paint. Surprising them with the restored rose and seeing their reaction made it all worthwhile!

In the end, all the ceilings were boarded and skimmed, making a huge difference to the house.

A couple of weeks ago, I managed to squeeze in a small last minute job in North Hampton for a building and maintenance company🛠️

Three walls to prep and plaster and I had to patch up a ceiling, honestly you'd never know it was a patch, came out looking like nothing was ever touched!! The painter even sent some photos to say he was really happy with the results🤩
