Prepare your gateways and fields for winter!

Plan ahead to avoid muddy gateways and tracks. The optimal solution is to dig out the targeted area (gateways, around field shelters, trackways etc) and fill with a layer of crushed concrete, topped with a layer of screened road planings, mechanically rolled for firmness.

We were recently commissioned to renew this badly potholed trackway on a local estate in Berkshire where Tarmac and subsequent metalling in of the lane was not an option, the customer and ourselves opted to recycle the existing surface materials. We used a 2.2 meter Planer and Road Roller which allowed for the track material to be re laid with no waste, giving a good quality rural finish.
