Challenge Complete. ❤️
81km complete! 🚣
Thank you to everyone who supported me in my 81km rowing challenge. Whether you donated, came along to cheer me on, rowed a few strokes or a few kilometres beside me, shared our posts or sent a message of encouragement, every bit of support helped me get to the finish.
A special thank you to…
💙 Avenge CrossFit Mallusk for opening your doors, allowing us to take over the gym and making your rowing machines available so friends, family and the wider community could row alongside me throughout the day.
🚣 Danielle Tubridy & The Little Gym Crumlin for lending me a rowing machine to train at home, creating my training programme and providing invaluable nutritional advice and support.
🎥 JP Mitchell & Top Notch Media for producing the promotional video, helping spread the word and sharing your rowing expertise through the ERG classes.
🦵 Mark at FOMA for lending me the recovery boots to help after 81km… maybe next time I’ll brave the cold plunge! 😅
💪 Hugh Carey Performance Therapy for squeezing me in for an emergency appointment just before heading off on holiday.
Thanks to your incredible generosity, we’ve already raised over £6,000, to be split between the Macmillan Cancer Centre at Antrim Area Hospital and Marie Curie. The GoFundMe page will remain open for another couple of weeks for anyone who would still like to donate, and I’ll share the total once it closes.
Thank you all for making this possible. ❤️
Now I’m hibernating for the next couple of weeks! 😂
