Little bit of an update. Some Agricultural and commercial work carried out recently,
A couple of items replaced in a egg layer house after they were damaged after the house was cleaned out and washed 🥚🥚

And at a local transport company, a fridge trailer hook up point replaced after being damaged 🧊🧊

A couple of domestic jobs completed recently, both customers were having their kitchens re-furbished and decided to have their sockets, spurs and switches etc upgraded.
One customer went for an antique brass with a black insert.
We also upgraded the under cupboard lighting and replaced a pendant with a spot in their back hall.
The other customer opted for a brushed chrome with a black insert, an immersion heater run back timer was also fitted so the immersion wasnt left on 💰💰

Does your consumer unit look like this?
Do you think it might be due an upgrade?
We replaced this consumer unit in a house last week, the black cable at the bottom of the picture was connected straight into the incoming supply with no protection on the cable 🫣
The new consumer unit was fitted with surge protection to protect electronic goods in the house.
Rcbo's were fitted to provide 30mA protection on every circuit, this also helps with fault finding, as if there is a fault on one circuit it does not trip the whole house.

Did you know that water and electricity dont mix? 😳🤯
We got a call out to a customers yard last week and were met with this, a missing roof sheet had allowed rain water into the old consumer unit which the cover was missing off aswell, this had caused the live and neutral to short out.
The customer was very lucky to not have a fire on their hands. 🔥🚒

Old consumer unit was removed and replaced with an Ip rated one and everything left safe ✔️✔️

Another couple of lighting jobs finished.
New led lights into a milking parlour, replacing 5ft single flourescent fittings, the new fittings giving a brighter cleaner light, while saving money.💵
The next job was replacement 100w led flood lights at a local transport company, this gives extra security and safety for the drivers using the yard at night 💡💡
The job was carried out on our own boom lift, this saved the customer organising the hire of a lift and the added cost involved.
