HOSEPIPE BAN

South east water have announced a hosepipe ban. This area, as per the map below, is mainly in Maidstone, Sevenoaks etc. Southern water do NOT have a hosepipe ban in place.

However, even during a ban, you are able to water new lay turf for a period of 28 days.

The main question I am being asked at the moment is

“It it too late in the season to lay turf”

The answer to that is ABSOLUTELY NOT!!

We cut and supply turf all year round, and in fact the colder weather is a lot kinder to newly laid turf that the sun!
