Another project completed in Raglan.

The customer wanted to improve the property’s kerb appeal, so we installed a new sandstone entrance and alleyway patio, new boundary fencing, and made a few improvements to the porch.

A solid oak porch post and matching oak feature post at the driveway entrance were installed, both supplied by the guys at Whitney Sawmills. The porch post was mounted on a bespoke sandstone saddle, which really complements the new patio.

New fascias and guttering were fitted to finish things off. Now onto the rear of the property!

Chimney restoration completed in Cwmyoy at this idyllic 18th-century farmstead in the Black Mountains.

This disused chimney had fallen into disrepair after centuries of weathering and inadequate venting. The stonework was severely laminated, clear pathways for water ingress and required localised lime repointing.

Now safely and sensitively rebuilt with new stonework, lime mortar repointing, a new terracotta cowl for ventilation, and storm cream protection.

Chimney restoration completed at the former Kiln House, Llangynidr.

Purpose-built for the workers of the limekilns, the former Kiln House stands opposite the grade two listed canal-side structures built between 1797 and 1799 during the construction of the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal.

This property’s chimney had previously been incorrectly capped, preventing the stack from breathing and trapping moisture within the masonry.

Our works included a full rake-out and repoint, installation of ventilated chimney pots, a new flaunch, and fresh leadwork throughout. The stack was finished with masonry storm cream for added protection.

We’ve been busy giving this charming circa-1950s detached bungalow in Gilwern a fresh, characterful facelift, adding elegant brick bay windows, a striking feature archway, and a standout diamond gable window.

Already a much stronger, more distinctive street presence!

A full modernisation of this property in Gilwern that we had the pleasure to be involved in.

New roof, dormer extension, fresh render by N Dawkins External Rendering specialist, porcelain patio and a lengthy curved brick wall we’re especially proud of.

We’re becoming familiar faces in Orchard Close, one brick wall at a time.

Works at Ty Derw, Croesyceiliog, a former coach house historically associated with the neighbouring Llanddewi Court Farm House.

We were tasked with restoring this outdoor cooking area to its former character and purpose.

A rebuild in Orchard Close, Gilwern after this curved wall began to lean dangerously.

Taken down and rebuilt double-skinned, following the original curve, with the reclaimed bricks reused in the rear skin.
