Last week, Paul and Curtis spent the day carrying out a full ACO channel clearance at a site in Bristol.
The ACO gratings, outlets and channel trays were all thoroughly cleaned out, removing the build-up that had accumulated over time. The drainage channels were then washed down to leave everything clean and flowing as it should.
To finish off, outlet flow tests were carried out to make sure the system was running freely and performing properly.

Matt and Jordan were braving the heights yesterday at a site in Bristol after reports of water leaking through the ceiling.
Following our investigation, we discovered that the rainwater pipes and guttering were heavily blocked with debris.
Using a MEWP, the team safely accessed the system and cleared three outlets that were obstructed by foreign objects. High-pressure water jetting was then used to thoroughly clean the pipework.
To wrap things up, we carried out CCTV and dye testing to make sure the system was clear and flowing properly.

Interesting find on a recent job at a Georgian building in Bath! 🐣

We were called out to a blocked concealed gutter at a Georgian property, but on inspection Jordan discovered a bird's nest with an egg tucked away inside.
While we'd normally get straight to work clearing the blockage, nesting birds and their eggs are protected by law, so disturbing them wasn't an option.
Once the nest is no longer active, we'll be back to safely clear the blockage and get everything flowing as it should.

Sometimes the job is about more than fixing a problem-it's about doing the right thing for our customers and local wildlife too. 😊

🌧️ Another flooding issue resolved! 🌧️

Last week, our dig team completed a 5-day soakaway installation at a property in Wiltshire where the homeowner had been struggling with regular garden flooding.

Before any excavation work began, we carried out a full utility scan to identify underground services and ensure the work could be completed safely without causing any damage.

The team then excavated a 16-metre trench, installed new pipework, and connected it into the existing drainage system. Once the pipework was in place, the soakaway crates and membrane were installed before the area was carefully backfilled and compacted.

Once the drainage had been installed, our engineers raked and seeded the disturbed ground, giving the grass the best chance to recover and return the garden to its original condition.🌱

Last month, our engineers completed a 5-day CCTV drainage survey at a stunning Grade II listed private estate in Bath.

The project involved lifting and inspecting all manholes across the property, surveying all main storm and foul drainage runs, and carrying out flow and dye testing on all gullies and ACO drainage channels to assess flow and identify any issues.

Last week, our excavation team completed a 5-day drainage project, installing a new soakaway system following a successful percolation test.

The work included installing an 8m ACO channel at the rear of the property, along with new drainage running from the rear, along the side, and through to the front garden where the soakaway was installed.

Throughout the works, specialist equipment was used to safely identify and work around existing underground services, ensuring the job was completed efficiently with no damage caused.
