Marc's rear brake and side lamps were not working. we traced the fault to 2 broken terminals within the connection block. if you look at the righthand one you can see right trough the terminal, the actual contact part has broken away. we had a rummage through my box of terminals and found a couple of new ones, got them fited and hey presto... the lamps are now working and ready for the MOT 😃

So I am still doing the odd little job here and there for my regular clients, nothing to big or lenghy and only when I can safely leave Alison. Really proud of this Room divider I installed today for the lovely Jen. It really helps zone the room and provide a corridor from the front door to the koitchen with out blocking out the light and shrinking the room to much. Love it

An Oak work top I have maintained for a number of years, unfortunately had a potted plant left on it, just for a weekend, and it left this very deep stain.
it took the best part of an hour and a half using a belt sander and an Orbital sander to get the mark out but well worth the effort, it looks as good as new now 😃

Although I am supposed to be mostly retired, there is still family to take care of. Here I have given Hannah's (my lovely daughter's) master bedroom a full colour change and applied wall paper to a feature wall. The theme is Alice in wonderland and it is beginining to look ab fab ❤

I have had a few people asking what I used on the park bench wooden slats. it was around three hours of sanding, then two treatments of Barrettine wood preserver, and 3 ultra thin coats of Fiddes hi build exterior wood oil. (if you dont use ultra thin coats it goes sticky and yuk)
