🚐 VAN DRIVER / DELIVERY HELP NEEDED

Is anyone local with a long-wheelbase van or suitable vehicle available to help me collect some materials from a builders merchant and deliver them to an address?

📦 Some of the materials are up to 3.6 metres long, so the vehicle needs to be suitable for carrying longer lengths.

Ideally looking to get this sorted within the next week or so.

🔨 Concrete Path Replacement – Porth

Another project successfully completed today in Porth for a very happy customer. ✅

This job involved removing two sections of old, tired concrete pathway — one measuring approximately 1.7m and the other 3.4m x 1.2m.

The existing concrete was carefully broken out and removed before we prepared the area ready for the new path. We then:

🔨 Broke out and removed the existing concrete
🚜 Prepared and levelled the ground
🪨 Installed and compacted a suitable sub-base
🪵 Installed heavy-duty 6x2 timber shuttering to create a strong, accurate form
🏗️ Poured fresh concrete throughout the prepared sections
📐 Carefully levelled and finished the concrete
🧹 Applied a brushed finish for a practical, non-slip surface
✨ Finished the edges with a clean trowelled edge for a neat professional finish

The result is a fresh, strong and practical new pathway that has completely transformed the area. 💪

🔨 Another little finishing touch in Dinas Powys 🔨

Back to a job we completed earlier this week, where we installed this 45m² Kandla Grey natural stone patio. 👌

Today we returned to carry out a few final details for the customer, including:

✅ Built a new 600mm step onto the patio
✅ Built and finished the brick retaining/shuttering wall around the patio
✅ Cut the Kandla Grey stone to create a clean angled finish around the boundary
✅ Finished off the edges and levels ready for the surrounding ground to be completed

The angled section really helps the patio follow the shape of the garden and gives the whole area a much cleaner finish.

🏡 45m² Kandla Grey Natural Stone Patio – COMPLETED! 🏡

After around two weeks of hard graft, this one is finally finished! 👌

We’ve transformed this outdoor space with 45m² of Kandla Grey natural stone, creating a large, clean and completely refreshed patio area.

The dig-out had already been completed as part of the customer’s extension works, so our work included:

🔹 Preparing and stoning up the area
🔹 Laying the full 45m² of Kandla Grey natural stone
🔹 Moving the existing hot tub and removing the old decking underneath
🔹 Repositioning the hot tub onto the new patio
🔹 Full jointing of the patio
🔹 Final clean down and finishing touches

A big job with plenty of graft involved, but we’re really happy with how this one has turned out! 🤩

Another outdoor space transformed and ready to be enjoyed. ♨️🍾

🌿 ANOTHER JOB COMPLETED IN PENCOED! 🌿

This one took a little longer than expected with the weather against us and, to top it off, both vehicles being off the road at the same time! 😅 But we got there in the end and what a transformation! 👌

We removed the existing shrubs and grass, levelled the garden, installed a fresh membrane and finished it off with Cotswold Buff decorative stone. We also built a 3ft Venetian-style privacy fence to give the garden a clean, modern finish while adding some extra privacy. 🔨✨

Even better, this was another returning customer — and another happy customer! ❤️

There’s still more work to do here, so we’ll be back again to build a new front gate and add some more chippings next time. 👍

A big thank you to the customer for choosing us again and for your patience while we battled the weather! 🙌
