🚜 NEW MACHINE DAY! 🚜

The new Kubota is officially on its way home! 👌

Our old Doosan has served us brilliantly, but it was time for an upgrade. Safe to say, we’re both smilling like two Cheshire cats collecting it! 🤣

Looking forward to putting the new Kubota to work and seeing what it can do. 💪

A big thank you to Major Owen Ltd for the service and getting the deal sorted for us.

Here’s to plenty of work ahead! 🚜💨

Part 2 of the Organic pool works 🚜

Did anyone guess it correctly? 👀😂
Progress is moving on well, with another major stage of the project now complete:
🔸 Large excavations completed for the swimming pool and pond area
🔸 Excavations carried out to depths of over 3 metres to reach suitable bearing ground
🔸 6F2 and MOT Type 1 sub-base placed and compacted, ready for the reinforced concrete base
🔸 Blockwork completed by a trusted subcontractor
🔸 Surrounding areas backfilled and compacted
🔸 Pond area landscaped, prepared with sub-base and finished with a sand bed
🔸 Underlay and pond liner installed
🔸 Oak sleepers fitted to form the swimming pool border
🔸 Beachy stone installed to create a natural finish around the pool area
🔸 Pumping station installed to manage surrounding groundwater
🔸 Hardstanding area constructed ready for the future sauna and swimming pool plant room
It's been a challenging but rewarding project, and it's great to see everything starting to come together. 😍

🌟Toilet block installed for Pen-yr-orsedd camping and caravanning in Llangwnadl, 10 person septic tank fitted for potential future connections. Bespoke managable leachfield fitted. Water pipe excavated and connected. Whole area reinstated, ground protection boards laid to prevent any damage to glamping pod field. 🌟

Tree Root Removal & stone wall rebuilt 🌳🚜
A recent job involving the safe removal of a large tree root that had become unstable and overhanging a busy road in Llanbedrog. creating a potential hazard for passing traffic and pedestrians.
Working within a confined space we carefully excavated around the root before safely removing it with minimal disruption.
Once removed, the area was graded and the driveway permitter wall rebuilt. Happy customer

We're excited to finally share this one.

Part 1 of 3 of the works started last year, involving a significant amount of preparation before the main project could begin.

🔸 Site clearance and bulk earthworks completed
🔸 Thousands of tonnes of material excavated and moved across the site
🔸 Recycled stone imported to construct the new access road
🔸 Over 250 metres of utility trenches excavated and installed to the work site
🔸 Access road excavated and built through challenging peat ground
🔸 Poor ground conditions overcome with extensive ground preparation
🔸 Large hardstanding area constructed ready for the next phase of works

Projects like this are won or lost on the groundworks. Getting the foundations and infrastructure right is what makes everything that follows possible.

🌟Little video of a feature stone being placed on our recent project🚜🌟

A large drainage and landscaping project recently completed in Yr Erw, Rhosfawr. This area of the garden had become extremely wet and was largely unusable, so we worked with the customer to come up with a plan to transform the space. 💪

The project included:
Importing and installing 150 tonnes of recycled material to improve drainage and raise the ground level
Excavating a new outlet to the nearby stream
Creating new pathways throughout the area
Constructing a unique druid stone circle using 8 boulders, each representing a different meaning
Levelling the entire area to create a mower-friendly finish
Building a small rockery using the remaining stone, ready for planting

A waterlogged and neglected area has been completely transformed into an attractive, practical, and accessible space that can be enjoyed year-round.

A fantastic result and a great transformation from start to finish.

🌟Another successful septic tank installation completed at a nice property in Station Llangybi, Chwilog.

The existing system was no longer compliant with current regulations, and following a CCTV drainage survey, we discovered that the original pipework was in very poor condition.

The project included:
• Installation of a new 10-person septic tank
• New managable leachfield installation
• Replacement drainage pipework throughout
• Installation of 3 new access chambers
• Levelling and topsoiling of two lawn areas to leave the site neat and tidy

This provided a compliant and reliable drainage system for years to come.🌟

🌟 Another project completed 🌟

We’ve recently finished creating new parking areas, motorhome pitches, and giving the entrance a full refresh Pen-yr-orsedd camping and caravanning a lovely spot in Llangenadl. 100 tonnes of MOT Type 2 sub-base was supplied, laid, and compacted to ensure a solid, long-lasting finish. Big thanks to O J Jones & Son LTD or their excellent service with aggregate deliveries 👏
