The latest batch of TDv6 Cam pulleys have just been finished and these are all heading to a Ford Main Agent in the States!

We all know that the design and manufacturing of the JLR pulleys is poor and it is starting to appear that the newley redesigned Ford version is not holding up to well either.

Yes they might seem slightly more expensive when compared to the original equipment versions, mainly as we will only supply them as a complete kit. But what price do you put on a top end engine rebuild or even a full engine when the genuine parts fail over and over again???

We are finally caught up with all open orders, from having 2 weeks off in the summer. Those who run there own business will understand the turmoil caused by closing for a simple holiday.

Next job is to get this latest batch of seat box jump start/ isolator panels with harness kits all assembled.

Toying with ideas for our little 2A once we have finished the reborn project...... What better way is there to depict all the diffrent variants of Series Land Rovers available back in the day, all mashed up into just one vehicle.

Our little 2a is far from stock. But does have lots of the best bits from so many models. Taken. Adapted. Enhanced and Proving what is possible when there are no limitations. Just time. Engineering and a vision of what can be achieved.

If anyone has a tidy(ish) 130 hicap body and bulkhead B they would be willing to part with. Please get in touch. It needs to be a 130 tub idealy not a 110 version and as straight as possible, but anything considered at this stage

A little splash of fresh fuel and a new battery is all it took to wake the 2a up from its 5 year sleep.

We have been taking stock with a new found enthusiasm and think its time to strip it down and go through it from the ground up again.

Nice to have a change from Land Rover related projects.

These Lea Francis steering assemblies are showing 70 years of wear on all the moving parts as well as a couple of bodged repairs.

So the first thing to do is strip and inspect all the parts. Work out what can be saved and put a plan together for remanufacturing all the bronze bushes, suspension pins, thrust washers and a couple of castings which simply can not be saved.

By the time we are finished these will be better then new.
