Dining chair set

All uniform and correct. This set of dining chair were covered in Warwick’s, Kingsman.

These chairs were originally in that awful flakey vinyl that so many of my customers come to me with. A change was overdue (and an end to the endless hoovering of the flakey dust!!!)

Soft furnishings

As well as furniture I also offer a range of soft furnishings. This window seat and scatter cushions were a lovely example. The customer carefully selected fabrics, piping and trimmings to match their colour scheme.

The fabrics were Remi, in Caper and Otillo in Watermint from Romo. Bartlett trimmings and Warwick Plush for the piping finish the look.

Warwick’s, Plush in Maple. It’s gorgeous isn’t it? So many people have asked what this colour is. It’s so warm and luxurious.

My customer had a sofa that had seen better days and just needed some love. This colour is an absolute transformation. The deep buttoning helps to show off the depth of the colour and the piping gives those arms some subtle definition.

That colour makes it good enough to eat!

Danish mid century pair

My customer had a pair of these danish armchairs that thy wanted to keep in the family but needed some love.
They decided to go for a classic, timeless style and chose real leather Saddle in black.
The rubber straps in the seats had become brittle and many had snapped or become extremely loose. So we replaced all of them (imported from Denmark!) and also replaced the back spring loops.

1930’s Art Deco

What a stunner! My customer wanted this pair of 1930s art deco club chairs to be recovered in real leather.

They chose this lovely ‘Old English’ leather in ‘malt’. I adore the colour.

Working with real leather has the added bonus that my workshop ends up smelling amazing!

We kept a similar style, adding decorative nail detail to the back of the chair like the original and piping detail on the arms and backrest.

And there’s a picture of them, pride of place, in the customers home. Stunners.
