StormMeister Flood protection World Leaders in Flood Protection. StormMeister™ Flood Protection is an independent company founded in 2010.

With over 30 years of experience in the home improvement sector he developed and patented the Active Flood Seal™. A unique Flood Seal that provides the ultimate protection for your home or business. Flood water is a powerful force and StormMeister™ Flood Resistant Doors harness that force in order to maintain flood resistance without using complex locking mechanisms. A multiple chamber structure is formed by a specially designed Chamber Gasket and flood water is actually allowed to enter the first chamber, the water chamber. Pressure of flood water in the water chamber then presses the Chamber Gasket firmly against the door leaf in order to maintain what has proved to be an extremely effective flood seal under test conditions exceeding the industry standard PAS1188-1:2014 by some considerable margin by maintaining zero leakage at 600 mm of water for periods in excess of 24 hours. 🥂 A great evening at the BIBAs Awards! 🥂

A fantastic night for the team at the BIBAs Awards, hosted at the iconic Blackpool Tower.

We were especially proud to be finalists in three categories this year - Global Business of the Year, Innovative Business of the Year and Construction Business of the Year.🏆 Being recognised alongside so many fantastic Lancashire businesses was a brilliant achievement for our team and a reflection of the hard work, dedication and innovation that goes into everything we do.

It was lovely to step away from the office, get dressed up and enjoy a brilliant evening together with our team and director. We’re proud of the people behind our business and the hard work they put in every day.

A great opportunity to celebrate, catch up with others in the Lancashire business community, and enjoy a memorable evening together. 🥂

Thank you to the BIBAs team for putting on such a fantastic event!

What makes our flood doors different? It all comes down to our patented Active Flood Seal✅💧

Not all flood protection systems are created equal. Our patented Active Flood Seal was designed by our Director to provide an intelligent, self-activating defence when flood water rises.

Here's how the inward opening Active Flood Seal works:

💧 Step 1 – Water enters the seal
Our specially engineered chamber gasket creates a multi-chamber structure. As flood water reaches the door, it is allowed to enter the first chamber before flowing into the expansion chamber.

💧 Step 2 – Water activates the seal
Rather than working against the door, the flood water works for it. As pressure builds within the chambers, it forces the seal firmly against the door leaf, wrapping around it to create a tight seal.

The seal is designed to activate from the moment flood water enters the chamber system at the threshold, providing protection without requiring significant flood depths.

It's this kind of engineering and innovation that sets our flood protection solutions apart🤩

🚪Flood protection that works for everyone🚪

Our low-threshold flood doors are designed to deliver certified flood resistance without compromising accessibility. With a significantly reduced threshold height, they provide a practical solution for wheelchair users, individuals with mobility challenges, and buildings where inclusive access is essential.

✔ Wheelchair-friendly design
✔ Easier access for mobility aids, wheelchairs, pushchairs and pedestrians
✔ Supports compliance with Part M accessibility requirements
✔ Certified flood protection
✔ Suitable for residential, commercial and public sector buildings
