Project Complete - Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, Barrow-in-Furness ✅

We're pleased to have successfully completed our works at Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School for Galliford Try, with the site now handed over ready for the next stages of development.

Our main scope of works included:
• Mechanical demolition of the former school, presbytery and associated buildings, delivered across two phases.
• Manual splitting works
• On site crushing and processing of demolition materials.
• Installation of a piling mat to the client's specification.

Working away from home presents its own challenges, but our site team maintained the highest standards of safety, quality and professionalism throughout the project.

A big thank you to Galliford Try for the collaborative approach taken throughout the project. Strong communication and teamwork between both site teams helped ensure a safe, efficient and successful delivery.

Last week, our management team had the privilege of attending the North East & Cumbria Supply Chain Awards 2026 🏆

We are delighted to share that we came away with the Innovation Award in recognition of our work on the recent Appleby School Project.

A huge well done to our site team for their work on the All Saints High School asbestos removal and demolition project.

We’re incredibly proud to have recently received 3 site awards from Tilbury Douglas, including recognition for team members who consistently go above and beyond, as well as the Supplier of the Month Safety Award.

Project Complete - Kadans, Upper Brook Street, Manchester ✅

“Overall it’s been a fantastic job, the full team involved are an absolute credit to Bradley’s. Had no issues from a site perspective and I would definitely look forward to working with Bradley’s in the future”

Initial activities included site clearance works, such as the removal of existing fencing & invasive vegetation, enabling the installation of secure hoarding. This was followed by a comprehensive asbestos removal and demolition package, covering both the main structure and an external roadside canopy.

The demolition of the existing building was a critical phase, preparing the site for the construction of a state-of-the-art facility for Kadans Science Partner.

Through effective planning, strong collaboration with the Morgan Sindall Construction team & a continued focus on safety and efficiency the project was successfully delivered on programme and to a high standard.

Well done to the full Bradley team involved for getting this over line and handed over ready for it’s next stages of development!
