Yesterday, one of our clients, Housing 21, told us that one of their sensitive Extra care nursing facilities had no heating.
It's not one of our premises, but naturally, we pulled all the stops out to help our client. By 10 am, our engineers James and Will were on the road, setting off on a 130-mile journey to Sunderland. They loaded two different temporary boilers, making sure they had the right setup for whatever they’d find on site.
Once there, they assessed the system and got straight to work. By 4.30 pm the same day, the temporary heating was installed, tested and running properly. Warmth restored, residents comfortable again, and the care home team able to relax knowing all was safe and sound.
What really sums up the commitment is what followed. Will gave up his booked holiday the next day so the job could be fully seen through. No fuss, just doing the right thing.
This is what being a family-run business with 56 years behind us looks like. Turning up when it matters and looking after people properly. If you’re local and need a hand, give us a ring.
