A very busy past few weeks with lawn renovations and treatments!

It's been a two-stage approach to target the moss without stressing the grass after such a hard summer- biostimulants have been a magic bullet this year! A good bit of rain has done wonders to help things bounce back now 👍

With that said, the speed of growth is so fierce this September that a lot of my fortnightly customers have been pushed to 10 day visits.

I'm booking in hedge trimming and reduction work for the dormancy period now so please get in touch sooner rather than later to reserve a slot. This includes ALL aspects of pruning, extending to trees and hedges alike.

We're out this week completing lawn renovations and lawn treatments to prep for autumn/winter- pictures soon to follow!

Recent planting work. A bit late in the season to source certain species but overall very pleased given the constraints of plant availability and budget.

Bulbs to be planted in prep for spring to grant some seasonal colour. By next summer we will then have ample ground cover and the beds will really start to take shape. A work in progress 🙏

Honestly this made my day. A client contacted me back in May last year about pruning their apple tree which was in much need of maintenance - lots of epicormic growth from the crown with canker on many of the limbs.

Thankfully they took my advice and waited until January this year to have the work done while the tree was dormant.

Fast forward to today... have you ever seen such luscious apples! 🤩🤩🤩

Today we said an emotional goodbye to Milo. He was 16 years old and passed away peacefully this morning at home surrounded by loved ones.

Thank you to all of you for allowing Milo to potter and wander in your gardens, it really meant a lot both to him and us! He always enjoyed going to different sites and was more than happy to chill out while we cracked on 🙂👍

Some much needed maintenance completed at Catherine Beckett Community Centre and Childsplay Day Nursery.

All species were meticulously checked for both the presence of birds and nests. Checks were performed over multiple visits with works commencing only when we were 100% certain no birds were present.

The line of hawthorn, holly and sycamore hedge between the carpark and the park has been INTENTIONALLY left untouched due to the presence of birds (last pic). This section will be addressed once we are satisfied birds have fledged and are no longer using the hedge as habitat.
