I am extremely fortunate to be an artist that doesn’t stand still for so long - as soon as I feel I am pigeon holing myself I tend to clamber out and start working to find a new way forward. I am never going to stop learning. I’m working on these landscapes and having such a smile on my face as I paint. I’m falling headlong into them.. just thought I’d share some work in progress oh yes and the TRIPTYCH! I chose to keep it as a three - it is framed. If you’re in Wimbledon this weekend I will have that one and lots of others on display for the wonderful art trail - I’m showing at the stunning showrooms Day True which is Venue 28 Thankyou so much Katie Preston & Katharine Rowe for organising!

I am thrilled to let you know I am teaming up with two other local artists to take part in this years Wimbledon Art Trail. I will be showing my work up in Wimbleson Village at the Day True Showroom, 19 High St, Wimbledon , SW19 5DX. It’s a perfect location for a wander around the boutiquey shi-shi shops in the village, or come and see us after a nice lunch! It’s a beautiful showroom for kitchens and homes, a perfect place to see how easy it is to integrate original art into homes. Annes unique ceramics and Gabrielas beautiful paintings and I are there 10.30-5.00 on 12th and 13th September. I heard the news that yayoikusama had passed away yesterday, which was the third shocking death in as many days. I have loved taking some special people to her Infinity Room at Tate these last few years. She was magical, moon dust and starlight. She is someone that I dearly hope rests in peace.

La Belle France. Over and out for another summer. Shadows noticed, holes dug, beach gymnastics done, sailing achieved, eclipse watched (through sensible glasses), surf riden, freckles freckling, red squirrel spotted, serious F1 watching, beach hair styled, swimmers tan cooked, beautiful shells collected and (mostly) returned, swallows fleeting in old barns, Atlantic swimming many many many days, food and w**e definitely done, family time. Merci.
