Taylor Burgen and Charlie Jones had a fantastic day representing the Marquee team at the Red Eagle Foundation Golf Day last Thursday, held at the stunning The Shire London.

With glorious sunshine, great company, and a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day, it was an event to remember!

It was a privilege to support such a worthwhile cause while enjoying a brilliant day of golf and networking.

The event was made even more special with appearances from Tottenham Hotspur Football Club legends, adding to the excitement and giving everyone the chance to meet some footballing icons.

Most importantly, the day was a huge success, raising an incredible £23,000 for the Red Eagle Foundation. A huge thank you to the organisers for putting together such a fantastic event - we're already looking forward to next year!

During July, the Marquee Group team are taking on the challenge of collectively completing 5 million steps and lifting 1 million kg in weights to raise £500 for Band of Builders. If we reach our £500 fundraising target, our Board of Directors will match it, doubling our total to £1,000. 💪🚶‍♀️

Band of Builders is a fantastic charity dedicated to supporting members of the construction industry and their families who are facing uncertainty due to illness, injury, or life-changing circumstances. Through practical projects, financial assistance, and wellbeing support, they make a real difference to those who need it most.

We're looking forward to putting ourselves through our paces for such an incredible cause, and we'd be hugely grateful for your support. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help us reach our goal and make a meaningful difference to the lives of those supported by Band of Builders.

This Men's Health Week, we're proud to raise awareness of the incredible work carried out by the Lighthouse Charity, supporting construction workers and their families with free, confidential emotional, physical and financial wellbeing services.

Last week, our Senior Business Development Manager Charlie Jones had the pleasure of attending the end of season golf day hosted by Tottenham Hotspur Football Club as a thank you to their corporate clients.

It was a fantastic day on the course alongside Spurs legends Ricky Villa and Ossie Ardiles, as well as spending time with our valued client Adam.

A brilliant event filled with great company, networking, and plenty of memorable moments. Thank you to everyone involved for such a well planned day.

Some of the Marquee team - Tom Edwards, Taylor Burgen and Jae Partridge had the pleasure of attending a client’s charity golf day today, raising money for the MS Society.

What an incredible day from start to finish - fantastic hospitality, great company, plenty of laughs, and some healthy competition out on the course.

Events like these are a brilliant reminder of how strong the construction community is when it comes together, not only for networking and team building, but also to support such an important cause.

A huge thank you to the organisers for putting on such a well run event. We’re proud to have been part of it and already looking forward to the next one. ⛳👏

With the start of the new financial year, HMRC has introduced significant changes affecting contractors working with CIS subcontractors.

One of the most important updates is HMRC’s increased enforcement powers. If they believe your business has been involved in tax fraud - even indirectly, or in cases where you ‘should have known,’ they can now:
• Remove your Gross Payment Status (GPS) instantly
• Apply penalties of up to 30%
• Prevent you from reapplying for up to five years
