Here we’re working on the structure and insulation of a loft space, setting everything out so the room works properly all year round.

Last time we showed the planning stage, setting out the pattern and checking every line and angle.

This is the finished herringbone floor, flowing cleanly through the space and wrapping perfectly around the staircase opening.

What you see here is the result of careful layout from the very first board.
