We’re looking for a reliable, experienced carpenter / multi-trade operative to join our growing team.

Ideally, you’ll be a strong carpenter who is also confident carrying out minor plumbing, electrical, tiling and general maintenance works.

Work will be varied and includes full kitchen and bathroom renovations, all aspects of carpentry and joinery, bespoke media walls and storage, property refurbishments, general maintenance, flooring, doors, studwork and other multi-trade works across both domestic and commercial projects.

We can offer either full-time regular work or would be happy to hear from self-employed tradespeople who have 2–3 days available each week.

What we’re looking for:

* Experienced carpenter / multi-trade
* Own van and tools essential
* Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
* Good standard of finish and attention to detail
* Comfortable working in both domestic and commercial environments
* Based around Hampshire / Portsmouth and surrounding areas

A recent kitchen worktop installation completed for one of our clients.

The client supplied the worktops and appliances, and we took care of the installation from start to finish.

Our works included:
• Installation of the new worktops
• Fitting all client-supplied appliances
• New plumbing for the sink and tap
• Safely capping the existing gas supply before installing the new electric hob, carried out by our qualified Gas Safe engineer

From carpentry and plumbing through to Gas Safe works, we coordinate every trade in-house, giving our clients one point of contact throughout the project.

Another bespoke under-stairs storage project completed.

This unused space has been transformed with custom-made shaker style panelling, creating a clean finish while making the most of the available storage. Every section was built to suit the existing staircase, giving the client a practical solution that blends seamlessly into their home.

On this project, we fitted a client-supplied worktop, carefully cutting and scribing it to achieve a clean, professional finish.

While on site, we also identified a leak on the hot water feed and repaired it before it could cause any further issues.

Complete bathroom transformation completed by the team at NELL Developments.

This full supply and fit project involved stripping the bathroom back to its shell, reconfiguring the layout, removing all visible pipework and rerouting services beneath the floor to achieve a clean, modern finish.

Works included:
• Full bathroom strip out
• New walk-in shower enclosure
• Vanity unit and WC installation
• Decorative wall panels throughout
• New black shower and tapware
• Plumbing alterations with pipework concealed beneath the floor

The client is still deciding on their final flooring choice, so the project isn’t quite finished yet, but the transformation speaks for itself.
