A front entrance that finally matches the house 👌

This one wasn’t about making a huge structural change — it was about giving the front of the property a finish that actually worked with the house.

The original frontage felt tired and didn’t really complement the modern anthracite windows, front door and railings.

We stripped the area back, properly prepared the ground and installed large-format grey porcelain paving, finished with a contrasting darker border to frame the entrance and tie everything together.

Even the practical details were considered, with grey ACO drainage chosen to blend seamlessly with the new porcelain paving.

🔨 Full ground preparation
◾ Large-format grey porcelain paving
◾ Contrasting dark border detailing
◾ Grey ACO drainage to complement the paving
◾ Neat detailing around the existing railings and property
◾ A completely refreshed entrance designed around the look of the house, Small area. Big transformation.

Now THAT’S a transformation 👀

This garden had an old timber deck that had completely deteriorated, along with tired fencing and an area that had become overgrown and unusable.

We stripped everything back, removed the rotten decking and supporting timbers, cleared the area and gave the space a proper overhaul.

The work included:

🔨 Removal of the old rotten timber decking

🧹 Full clearance of the area.

🪚 New feather-edge fencing built on site.

🪵 New 4ft × 6ft fence installed across the rear.

👌 New low-maintenance composite decking, complete with finished edging and steps.

A massive difference from where we started — turning a neglected corner of the garden into a clean, practical outdoor space ready to be enjoyed again.

🚿 When a leaking shower isn't just a leaking shower...

Our client contacted us after discovering a leak from their shower enclosure. Once the existing shower tray was removed, the cause became clear, the tray had very little structural support underneath, allowing movement over time, which had ultimately led to the failure.

Rather than simply replacing the tray, we rebuilt the installation properly from the ground up.

🔨 The work included:

✔️ Removal of the existing shower tray and enclosure
✔️ Removal of the inadequate support beneath
✔️ Installation of new structural timber supports
✔️ New flooring installed and securely fixed
✔️ Waterproof tile backer board fitted ✔️ New shower waste installed
✔️ New shower tray professionally bedded and fully supported
✔️ New shower enclosure installed and sealed

It's what's underneath that determines how long a shower lasts. A properly supported tray helps prevent movement, leaks and costly repairs in the future.

At Prowess Developments, we don't believe in shortcuts—we believe in doing the job properly the first time.
