⚡ Is your fuse box ready for an upgrade? ⚡

Your consumer unit is at the heart of your electrical installation, helping protect your home, your family and your wiring when a fault occurs.

If yours has old rewireable fuses, lacks RCD protection or shows signs of damage, it could be time for an upgrade. Age alone doesn’t mean it needs replacing, but having it assessed will help you understand whether it provides suitable protection.

At Bickerton Electrical Services Ltd, we install modern, full RCBO consumer units with:

✅ Individual circuit protection against earth leakage, overloads and short circuits.
✅ Less disruption because a fault on one circuit needn’t disconnect several others.
✅ Improved protection against electric shock through modern RCD technology within each RCBO.
✅ Full testing and certification to verify the installation before handover.

As an NICEIC Approved Contractor and Domestic Installer, we provide professional workmanship and straightforward advice you can trust.

💷 Full RCBO consumer units fitted from £800 + VAT (£960 including VAT). Final price is subject to a survey and any remedial work required.

📍 Serving Portsmouth and the surrounding areas.

📩 Message us today for a free quote and find out whether your home would benefit from an upgrade.

Safety. Reliability. Peace of mind.

Here are the results of an incredible project I was proud to be part of: DIY SOS Southampton! 🏡⚡

As lead electrician, I had the privilege of working alongside an amazing team of electricians who gave their time, skills and energy to help get this family back home after they had been badly let down and left out of pocket by a contractor.

I’m so proud of what we achieved together. Behind the finished rooms is a huge amount of hard work, teamwork and care from people who wanted to make a difference.

This was much more than an electrical installation. It was helping a family move forward and giving them a home they could enjoy together again. ❤️

A massive thank you to every electrician, tradesperson, supplier and volunteer who helped make it happen. It was a privilege to play my part alongside you all.
