As 2025 draws to a close, we would like to thank our customers, colleagues and industry friends for your continued support throughout the year.

We’re proud to share our latest case study showcasing how Albion Stone’s Grove Whitbed and Fancy Beach Whitbed Portland Stone is helping shape one of central London’s major new developments: 25 Baker Street.

This transformative scheme by Derwent London and The Portman Estate brings together high‑quality office, residential and retail spaces across an entire urban block. Designed by Hopkins Architects, the development features a contemporary façade that draws on the rich architectural character of Marylebone, and Portland Stone plays a central role in that vision.

Portland Stone has long been celebrated as the finest limestone in the UK, featured on some of London’s most iconic landmarks. We are delighted to see it continue to form part of the next generation of sustainable, beautifully crafted buildings in the capital.

This 300-year-old cottage was given a thoughtful refresh with Portland Stone used throughout supplied by Albion Stone.

We matched the existing Heritage Portland Stone paving laid over 20 years ago with:
• Stonehills Whitbed flooring (~65m²)
• Grove Whitbed solid steps weighing over a tonne
