There’s a tremendous amount of work going in from teams all over 💪💪 the unsung hero’s of the industry who sacrifice a lot to keep the water flowing🙌

It’s not just a job 💧🔧🚰🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

With the prolonged dry conditions, we often ask a lot of our customers to help us preserve water supplies and make sure there is enough water for all customers.

We want you to know that we are doing our bit too.

This weather puts pressure on our network; as the ground dries, it contracts and shifts, placing stress on pipes and contributing to an increase in bursts.

Between 7 July and 12 August, teams across Wales:
💧completed 4,797 leak repairs
💧repaired 586 mains bursts
💧supported the repair of more than 1,500 private leaks
💧saved an estimated 48.79 million litres of water every day through completed repairs.

We manage around 27,000km of water mains and are committed to reducing leakage by 24% by 2030 as part of our record investment programme of more than £4 billion.

We’ve just hit 3 years 🥳

This is a reminder of what’s possible with the right vision, team, drive—and a ridiculous amount of resilience 💪

Year 3 has been… intense. 🤯
- Sleepless nights
- Tough calls
- Criticism, egos, bad opinions 😂
- Times where it looked bleak
- To name a few, the list is looooong!

But we gambled, we learned, and we kept going.
And honestly? Worth every minute 🫡
