We started by preparing the existing floor with 9mm plywood sheeting, creating a solid and level base before fitting premium LVT flooring
We also made a custom flush access hatch for the crawl space underneath. The existing access was located in the hallway and in a high-traffic area, so we relocated it to this room and positioned it where the customer normally has their rug, keeping it discreet while still allowing easy access when required. The room was then finished off with Traditional Ogee skirting, completing the new look.
As part of the work, I also fitted a Surestop push-button stopcock in the bathroom making it much easier to isolate the home’s water supply when required. The previous traditional stopcock was under the floor and almost inaccessible.
