Didn’t want the big expense of rebuilding from scratch… so we found a smarter solution! 💡

The customer decided they preferred the traditional look, so we removed the dry hip system and mucked the hip tiles on instead. All bedded in mortar, pointed up solid, and finished to a high standard.

Great progress made — doorway opened up, solid 6-inch concrete lintel fitted properly to support the load safely.

Ran out of time to finish everything today, so we’ll be back first thing Monday to complete the job, tidy up and get it all ready.
