Teamwork beyond the workplace!

A huge well done to our Facades team who took on the Chariots of Fire relay race in Cambridge at the weekend.

This fantastic annual event brings teams together to race through the historic streets and colleges of Cambridge, all while raising vital funds for local and regional charities.

First held in 1992 and inspired by the famous Chariots of Fire film, the event has now raised more than £1.6 million for good causes – so it was brilliant to be part of its continuing story.

A great day, a brilliant team effort and plenty of tired legs afterwards!

Well done to everyone who took part and supported this fantastic Cambridge tradition.

We’re incredibly proud to have played a part in the DIY SOS Southampton – helping alongside an amazing team of trades and volunteers to create something very special for a deserving family.

We can’t share the finished result just yet – you’ll have to tune in for the big reveal!

Tuesday 6th October 2026, 8pm, BBC One

It was a privilege for the Bournemouth Glass Company team to get involved and support this fantastic project, and we can’t wait to see it all come together on screen.

A huge thank you to the DIY SOS team and everyone who gave their time, skills and support.

A new rugby season is nearly here, and we're proud to be standing alongside Bournemouth Rugby once again as official sponsors. 💙🏉

Last season gave us unforgettable moments, incredible determination, and a well-deserved championship-winning promotion. It was a reminder of what can be achieved when talent, teamwork, and community come together.

As we look ahead to the new season, we're excited to continue supporting not only the players on the pitch, but also the coaches, volunteers, supporters and everyone working behind the scenes to make the club such a special place.

Here's to another season of hard work, great rugby, and unforgettable memories. Good luck to everyone involved – we'll be cheering you on every step of the way! 💪

Another completed Bournemouth project for BGC.

Great to see another installation finished, this time on Durley Road in Bournemouth, working alongside The Harbourview Construction Co.

For this project, the team installed:
Spectus sliding sash windows from Vintage Upvc Products – combining the traditional look of sash windows with the performance and practicality of modern uPVC.

eurocell uPVC doors, supplied by Windoormate Ltd – providing a smart, durable finish to complement the new windows.

A fantastic result and another great example of working with quality products and trusted partners to deliver the right finish for the property.

Thanks to everyone involved in the project.

Sometimes we forget some of the fantastic projects we have completed. Here we revisit a project from a few years ago and see how well it continues to stand the test of time.

For this project, the Bournemouth Glass Company team supplied and installed Roseview Windows sliding sash uPVC windows, alongside TECHNAL aluminium doors and windows — combining traditional styling with modern performance and durability.

Quality products, expert installation and a finish designed to last.

It’s great to look back at completed projects and see the results still looking the part years later.

I had a fantastic and productive day while visiting AluK GB.

It was impressive to see their extensive range of aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling systems, while discussing the latest innovations and upcoming products entering the market.

A particular highlight was discussing the Future Homes Standard 2026 with Wayne Richards and learning how AluK are ensuring their products are ready to meet the new requirements expected to come into force in early 2027.

Many thanks to Carmen Bull at Trade Supplies for hosting and, as always, great to catch up.

It was also a pleasure to have an impromptu catch-up with Mike Andrews from Alumate.

Days like these are invaluable for keeping up to date with industry developments and ensuring we continue to offer the best solutions to our clients.

What a game. What a season. What a club.

As proud sponsors, Bournemouth Glass Company are thrilled to celebrate Bournemouth Rugby’s incredible 34–31 win over Wi******er, securing promotion as champions!

A match full of drama, passion, and pure grit — the kind you don’t forget in a hurry.

Huge congratulations to the players, coaches, and everyone involved — a phenomenal achievement.
But just as importantly, we want to shine a light on the unsung heroes behind the scenes…
💙 The volunteers.
While celebrations were still fresh, they were already back at it — preparing the grounds and hosting the next generation at the youth festival. No spotlight, just dedication and love for the club.

At BGC, we’re proud to support not just the team, but the people who make this club what it is. Because success isn’t just built on the pitch — it’s built by the community behind it.
