Due to our expanding workload, we are currently looking for an experienced Part 3 Architect / Senior Technician to join our talented team, award-winning team. Our portfolio includes residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, covering a variety of sectors for both private clients and developers.

This is a great chance for a qualified Architect / Senior Technician to take the next and hopefully long-term step in their career. The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 5 years relevant work experience, (post qualification) in the UK.
• Advanced CAD skills, (Vectorworks ideally).
• A good working knowledge of UK planning procedures and experience in negotiating successful planning applications.
• A sound understanding of building regulations, and experience in delivering Building Regulation drawings.
• The ability to manage their own time effectively; with a willingness to learn and a can-do attitude.
• A need to be part of a team and share in our collective success.
• Must possess a UK driving licence and be able to attend site visits.

• good CAD skills are essential (Vectorworks 3D BIM and Photoshop, ideally).
• good working knowledge of UK planning procedures and understanding of building regulations.
• the ability to manage your own time effectively; with a willingness to learn and a can-do attitude.
• the desire to be part of a team and share in our collective success.
• a UK driving licence and be able to attend site visits locally.

The role will involve:

🟠 Assisting the architects with administrative duties.
🟠 Liaising with clients and consultants.
🟠 General administrative duties to include filing and archiving.
🟠 Monitoring office supplies.
🟠 Diary management.

A couple of weeks ago we celebrated the retirement of a very much loved and valued team member, Marcia. We welcomed past colleagues, friends, and family to DJA to surprise Marcia after what she thought was a rather quick, but lovely, lunch out!

After 24 years of working for David, Marcia has decided that it is time to embark on new adventures, and she will be dearly missed by us all. Marcia played a crucial role in keeping the office running smoothly, keeping the practice ship-shape, and the staff happy.
