We were thrilled to welcome a curious group of Year 5 pupils from St Columb Minor Academy to our Nansledan sales office in Newquay recently.

The visit offered a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at how our homes are designed, built and brought to life – with plenty of great questions for Octavia, our brilliant Sales Executive. From sustainability and site safety to what makes a Morrish home unique, nothing was off the table!

The children brought great enthusiasm as they explored design features and learned more about the wider Nansledan community. It was a fantastic opportunity to inspire young minds and connect them with their local environment – and perhaps even spark a few future careers in housebuilding!

A huge thank you to the pupils and staff for joining us – we loved having you on site.

We’re thrilled to celebrate an incredible achievement by some of the Morrish Homes construction team, who successfully completed the Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge, stretching 100km across the World Heritage coastline over the course of 48 hours.

Jamie Harris, Tyron Ebdon and his wife Verity, Carl Davis, Iain Batten, Phil Campbell and Bill Morrish took on the challenge in honour of Jamie’s son George, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and epilepsy last year. The team started at Corfe Castle and made their way past Swanage, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Portland Bill, Chesil Beach, and on to West Bay, before finishing in Bridport.

Thanks to the generosity of colleagues, family, and friends, Jamie and the Morrish Team have so far raised a remarkable £6,880 for two life-changing charities: Designability and Young Epilepsy.

Morrish Homes Officially Launches at Mountbatten Park

Morrish Homes has officially launched at Mountbatten Park in North Baddesley, Hampshire, following an exclusive event and the much-anticipated unveiling of our first show home.

Attendees were welcomed throughout the day for a first look at the beautifully designed four-bedroom detached show home, offering a glimpse into the craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail that define Morrish Homes at Mountbatten Park. Three homes have already been reserved off-plan.

The show home’s interior is themed from top to bottom to reflect a contemporary take on country living with on-trend green hues, earthy tones and mixed textures throughout. Highlights include a light-filled, dual-aspect living room, an open-plan kitchen/dining room with integrated appliances, three generously sized double bedrooms with an en-suite to the principle bedroom, and a fourth bedroom dressed as a hobby room.

David has been with Morrish Homes for almost three years and brings over 15 years of industry experience to this next step in his career.

Before construction, David lived a very different kind of adventure – working as a wildlife documentary cameraman! These days, he’s swapping lens kits for site plans and enjoying life as a hands-on dad to his young son, Arthur.

We’re proud to recognise David’s growth and the positive impact he continues to have on our teams and developments.

Spring sunshine, community spirit and plenty of Easter cheer in Poundbury!

We were proud to sponsor this year’s Poundbury Easter Market, bringing together families, residents, and brilliant local businesses for a fantastic day in Queen Mother Square.

The weather couldn’t have been kinder, and the square was full of life as visitors enjoyed artisan stalls, community chats and – of course – our favourite part: the Easter egg hunt! 🐰✨

We were delighted to provide all the Easter eggs for our younger residents, and seeing the children’s faces light up as they claimed their prizes was the perfect reminder of why we support events like these.

A huge thank you to the organisers and volunteers who worked so hard to make it all happen – the positive feedback has been heartwarming, and we’re already looking forward to the next community celebration.
