A slightly different project completed by the Mint Glazing team recently for our friends at The Dorset Golf & Country Club 🏌️

Just over 26 linear metres of stainless steel post and rail balustrade fitted, with glazed infill panels 🤩

Completed over a couple of days, finishing the outside seating area off nicely alongside other recent renovations and improvements made at the resort 👌

Whether it’s fall prevention needed, a wind-break or just a sleek looking way to enclose an area - this stainless balustrade ticks all the boxes ✅

We’ve been completing regular works for LUSH UK since 2023. Our working relationship began with an emergency door repair on a Saturday to help secure one of their premises following storm damage 🆘💨

From that point on, we’ve been their first port of call for any window or door related issues. Countless routine and emergency maintenance jobs completed over the years , as well as new installations across various sites 🤝

Naturally we were called upon when one of the large double glazed units at the front of one of their warehouses sustained damage recently 🚐

We attended same day to take measurements and provide a quotation for a replacement toughened unit. With this soon approved, we returned just a few working days later to put things back to normal 👌

Our out of hours team recently attended another Co-Op store in Portsmouth where unfortunately the glazing had sustained damage during a shop lifting incident 🆘

We were on site within 90 minutes to remove the damaged glass and secure the store by boarding the door 🚐

The staff were beyond happy to see us so they could leave the premises after a long day and return home once we had finished securing the store, ready for them to resume business the following day 😊

We soon returned to finalise the works with new laminated safety glass fitted ✅

Fed up with the maintenance involved with timber windows but wanting to retain the character of your home? 🏡

Timberlook Windows & Doors are UPVC products which help to retain a traditional look whilst benefiting from little to no maintenance and enhanced security and thermal efficiency 🔥

Here’s an ongoing project where we have recently installed Timberlook windows to the front of this property in Wimborne 📍

Our team spent a couple of days here replacing three section bay windows to the upper and ground floors, as well as a landing and cloakroom window. We also installed another window to the rear and rounded this off with a traditional style composite door from Endurance Doors 😍

We look forward to returning here in the future to carry out further works to the rear of the property 🤝

We don’t just carry out domestic work! Here’s a commercial job we have completed in Swanage 📍

As part of a refit project for Budgens, we were tasked with installing an aluminium window to the front of the store 🛒

We constructed a timber box section beneath the frame so that the glazing remained consistent with the existing windows 👌

Working in a heavy footfall area can be tricky at the best of times, let alone when working with large panes of glass. We carry out in-depth risk assessments before commencing works and ensure safe working practices are followed throughout 👷‍♂️

Pleased to assist another local business with this recent shopfront glass replacement completed for Jade Orchid Chinese Takeaway in Fairmile 📍

We had previously attended here to remove the unsafe damaged glazing and board the opening temporarily so that they could resume trading 🍜

Having submitted quotations for replacement glass to be covered by their insurers, we returned promptly once this had been approved 🚐

All good as new and safe again with a large pane of laminated safety glass fitted with ease 👌✅

Great to be able to assist at the local Penton MG dealership in Poole with their glazing requirements 🚘

Our services were called upon when one of the higher level glazed panels to the front of the showroom had shattered 🆘

Due to the size and location of the glass, a team of 4 operatives completed the works safely utilising our mobile access tower 👷‍♂️

We soon had everything back to normal and the area available again for customers and staff ✅

Following completion of this job, we were pleased to be passed another glazing job at one of their Christchurch showrooms 😁🤝

By far our most common cause for glass breakages is impact damage from strimming and lawn mowing nearby 🫣

Be sure to check your lawns for stones and debris before firing up your machinery, otherwise you just might find yourself requiring our services 😬🆘

Here’s a recent job we completed at a Costa Coffee store in Poole 📍

Unfortunately one of the large panes to the side of the store had sustained damage when the council had been mowing the grass area adjacent to the building 😫

We arrived on site soon after to make the glass safe temporarily and measure up for a replacement unit 🚐

Once we had received approval to organise a new unit, we returned just 5 working days later to change this over. Implementing safe working practices and a cordon around the immediate area, the store was able to continue trading with minimal disruption to staff and customers ✅☕️
