8 years of planning applications, multiple refusals, dismissed appeals and over £10k spent with previous designers - and still no planning permission.
Not exactly the result anyone was hoping for.
The client had almost given up when they came to us, having seen that we’d successfully secured planning permission for their neighbour (who had been through a similar planning battle!).
Given the history of the site, they weren’t particularly optimistic about getting permission for a larger contemporary replacement dwelling in the Green Belt, but we felt there was still a way forward.
We took a fresh look at the site, understood the planning constraints and put together a clear strategy for the design. This time, it paid off.
We’ve now secured planning permission at the first time of asking for a large 𝟰𝟯𝟱𝗺² contemporary dwelling replacing an existing 𝟭𝟮𝟴𝗺² bungalow in the Green Belt.
After 8 years of trying, it’s fair to say the client was pretty pleased with the result. We’re pretty sure they’re happy to never hear the words “planning application” ever again😂
