Sent me over an AI image of what they wanted to achieve so I went and chopped up some wood then hey presto😉

Can't wait to see this one all decorated its going to look amazing👌🏻

Haven't posted for a while its been a very difficult few months but I'm slowly getting back on track.
This was a hard task but an interesting one.
First job was making the boiler and all that pipework dissappear.
Second was to build some shelving along the back wall.
Lastly to hide it all away behind a secret bookcase.
Used a pivot hinge method with this one and it worked out pretty well👌🏻
Looking forward to seeing it stained up and full of literature😉

This has to be one of the most challenging stair refurbs ive ever had to do..

Absolutely everything about the existing detail was out of plumb,out of level, twisted,warped, bent, you get the jist🙈
Nevertheless with a little perserverance, patience and a lot of head scratching we have arrived at the desired result.
Full oak Newel replacement to start.
Solid oak handrail,baserail and spindles.
6mm oak veneered mdf to clad over the existing stair stringer inside and out.
Bit of a jigsaw puzzle to be honest but it didnt beat me!

Been busy the last couple of weeks on a job for a gentleman in Ty-Rhiw helping to add the finishing touches to the mammoth bungalow upper extension he has been undertaking!

Currently in the middle of a full bedroom wardrobe fit out (progress to be posted when complete) in the mean time i've installed this Oak balustrade,Newels and glass paneling which compliments the large skylight above (installed by the home owner).
Fully finished veneered oak doors yet to be fitted and the wardrobes to be completed and this is looking to become a stunning property!

So we are in the middle of a large garden project at home at the moment and one of the tasks on the list was to replace the old rotten double gates that have been stood there about 20 yrs.
In my wisdom I decided to beef them up using 5×2 treated timbers which inevitably resulted in them being rather weighty🙈
I opted for a halflap Dovetail when jointing the cross rails to the styles as it would help in preventing the joints pulling apart.
I also applied a healthy amount of D4 expanding weatherproof adhesive to seal the bond.
Double diagonal bracing from corner to corner would have been over 45⁰ which is of little benefit so I scarfed them into the mid rail to provide a good solid brace.
Heavy duty hinges and some supporting guide wheels along with a decent long throw security lock and I now have a set of gates that would hold a few Rhino's!🤣 bookings for Rhino camp are taken on my other page by the way👍🏻
Happy with the end result and now i can easily access my drive from the outside👍🏻

Recently completed custom storage for a member of the family up in Cwmbach.
Designed and built on site to accommodate customers requirements.
Looks fab now it has been decorated and the LED lighting has been added!

Recently completed media wall and wall paneling for another fantastic return customer in Caerphilly.
1st,Existing fire place removed and re incorporated into the new media wall as requested.
New TV and bracket mounted.
Timber and mdf construction,
all joints sealed and filled with a 2 part hardened wood filler ready for decoration👌🏻

2nd part for a full board t&g style wall panelling with a shallow top shelf and mounted new tv and existing radiator brackets.
Can't wait to see the decor to match the rest of the beautiful home👌🏻👍🏻

Some before and after pics of an understair storage option to accommodate the TV for a wonderful customer in Tonteg🙂
Bit of tricky one to tackle with the winder at the top so worked out a neater option to incorporate a cupboard with top opening door and gas piston stay👌🏻😉

Recently built custom fitted bed for my niece❤️
Planned and built on site adjusting as we went👌🏻
Finished product looks fab after the decorating.
Fills me with joy to know that she absolutely loves it😉👍🏻
