2026 — what a year of progression it has been at J2R Demolition Limited

This week came a big surprise. We were delighted to receive the SME News Welsh Enterprise Award for Best Demolition & Asbestos Removal Contractor 2026.

What made it particularly special? We were nominated by our clients.

For us, that means a great deal. In our industry, trust, reliability and consistent delivery are what build lasting relationships.

Alongside the award, we’re proud to have our National Federation of Demolition Contractors Full Accreditation, become a preferred contractor for our trust client Morgan Sindall, get an amazing first opportunity with Willmott Dixon to demonstrate our delivery while continuing to grow strong client relationships across the region and expand our management team with the additional of Commercial Manager Dominic Taylor to support well established Contracts Manager Matthew Morgan.

We don’t measure growth purely by turnover. Growth is progression. Reputation. Trust. Repeat Business.

2026 has certainly been a good year so far — and we’re proud of what we’re building and will continue to build.

We are currently recruiting CCDO Demolition Labourers/Operatives, experienced D90C machine operatives and Gold Card Supervisors.

WE ARE HIRING - IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE DUE TO SECURED WORKLOAD - OTHER POSITIONS AVAILABLE

The CCDO Demolition Supervisor will oversee day-to-day demolition site activities, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations. Key responsibilities include supervising demolition crews, conducting toolbox talks, coordinating tasks, monitoring safety protocols, and maintaining project schedules. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and liaise with key stakeholders. This is a full-time, on-site role located in South Wales (occasional working away may be required)

QUALIFICATION
Extensive knowledge of demolition practices, including robotic demolition and asbestos removal.
Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise teams, conduct toolbox talks, and coordinate site operations effectively.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and incident reporting procedures.
Proficiency in scheduling, task management, and ensuring project deadlines are met.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to work closely with teams and external stakeholders.
CCDO Supervisor qualification and relevant experience in the demolition industry (CCDO Demolition Refurbishment Operatives with desire to develop and hold SSSTS shall also be considered for alternative roles)
A valid driver’s license.
