🏗️ WEEKLY PROJECT ROUND-UP
Another productive week across our live projects, with excellent progress made by the BK Yorkshire team.
📍 Dewsbury – Care Home Project
Two rooms have been fully skimmed and decorated, ready to be handed back to the client.
📍 Armthorpe, Doncaster – HMO Refurbishment & Extension
The extension is progressing well, alongside plenty of internal work:
✅ New pipework pressure tested
✅ New MDPE water main installed from the meter to the internal stop tap
✅ Boarding and skimming underway
✅ New door casings being installed
✅ Extension brickwork progressing well
📍 Micklefield – Extension
A strong first week on site:
✅ Footings excavated
✅ Inspected and approved by Building Control
✅ Existing drainage extended and altered
✅ Concrete footings poured
✅ Materials loaded out ready for the next stage
📍 Selby – Flat Renovation & Project Takeover
After taking over this project from another builder, we’ve had plenty to rectify before we could properly get stuck into the renovation.
Good progress is now being made:
✅ First-fix plumbing almost complete
✅ First-fix electrics almost complete
✅ All structural timberwork completed
✅ Ready for insulation and plasterboarding
🔜 Next week:
• Brickwork and blockwork will begin at Micklefield, bringing the extension up to DPC level
• We’ll be aiming to get the roof on the HMO extension in Armthorpe
• Internal plasterboarding will continue, with skimming commencing
• Insulation and boarding will begin at the Selby flat renovation
