It’s been the perfect weather for all exterior jobs this year!☀️

This is the finished results of the last exterior job of the year that I’ve recently finished. So much effort went into getting the finished results for this but it was all worth it!

Due to growth, we are excited to share that KDF Painting and Decorating are looking to hire an apprentice to join our team. 🖌️

What this role includes:
- You will work under supervision of an experienced Painter and Decorator to support build and develop your skills.
- This role will cover the full aspects of Painting & Decorating. Including learning how to prepare surfaces for different applications such as different paint finishes/products and wallpapering.
- This role will result in the completion of the Level 2 and 3 Painting and Decorating qualification through Leeds College of Building starting approximately November 2026.
- A friendly and encouraging working atmosphere.
- Learning how to engage and communicate with customers and suppliers.
- Working in both commercial and domestic settings.
- Salary inline with National Apprenticeship Wage.

What we’re looking for:
- GCSE Grade C/4 in Maths and English.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Good time management and organisation skills.
- Well mannered.
- Honest and trustworthy.
- Reliable.
- Punctual.
- Uses initiative.

📍KDF Painting and Decorating is based in Pontefract so someone local to the area is preferred.

😍Dream team are back 💪🏻😍

Absolutely love to see the finished results on this living room! It’s been a full project from start to finish. All new flooring fitted, skirting boards,panelling and the media wall. Always a pleasure to work together on projects!

Here’s some before and after photos of a handrails, spindles, newel posts, side paneling and stair treads that’s recently been completed in Roundhay. So much goes into the process of getting this to the finished results but it’s so worth all of the effort!

Recently finished this farm house in Pontefract. This was the last bits that I had left to finish!

Popular colour skimming stone was used throughout which provides a fresh but homely finish. 😍

I got sent this video that my lovely customers made of a before and after of the two bedrooms, hallway, living room and dining room I completed in Garforth recently.

There was so much prep work involved in this job from taking all the previous lining paper off to then re-lining all the walls throughout and then painting everywhere. (except for doors as they are getting replaced).
