Down in Hastings this morning doing what we do best. We laid a heavy-duty 1200 gauge damp proof membrane, followed by Celotex with foil-taped joints, and 25mm thick perimeter upstands at 100mm high to prevent cold bridging then we laid a second layer of 500 gauge membrane over the Celotex and taped every joint tight. Finished the whole system off with a traditional 75mm sand and cement screed, hand-floated and trowelled to a dead flat, smooth finish ready for the floor coverings to go down. Proper prep, proper materials, proper job.

Precision in every layer. Whether we’re laying a traditional sand & cement screed or working on specialist heritage projects with v***r permeable limecrete floors, the standard of craftsmanship and attention to detail remains the same.
