After reaching out to several stonemasons for help without success, we decided to take matters into our own hands and relocate the font ourselves on one of our projects.

This extremely old font, weighing just under a tonne, needed to be repositioned as part of our alteration works at St Margaret’s Church in West Hoathly.

Sometimes you're better off doing it yourself! Well done team!

This Volunteers' Week, we're delighted to shine a light on our Strategic Alliances Manager, Lisa Pickard, who volunteers twice a month with Womankind - support group for women.

By giving her time to support women in the local community, Lisa helps create a welcoming space where people can connect, share experiences, and support one another through life's challenges. The value of simply being there to listen and offer encouragement should never be underestimated.

Volunteering is often about the small, consistent acts that make a real difference, and Lisa's commitment is a wonderful example of that in action.

We're incredibly proud to have colleagues who dedicate their time and energy to causes that matter to them and to the communities around them.

The scope of works includes:

💠 External landscaping alterations to improve functionality and accessibility
💠 Installation of a covered, ramped walkway to enhance safe and inclusive access

The site comprises a two-storey vacant cottage with a private garden, located adjacent to the existing nursery facilities which will create an exciting opportunity to expand and enhance the educational environment.
