Last little job !!

So last job before starting on the new home, straight forward really out with the old and in with the new.

Normally you would need building control or to be Fensa registered to install new upvc doors or windows but as its a non habitable building (garage) none of this is needed.

not loads of photos but you can clearly see it look a lot better than an old wooden door.

Our big news !!!

So some of you may know by now that both myself and Gemma have purchased our first property together.

We take such pride in working for all our customers that finally we get to do the same for ourselves.

So along side our normal posts we want you to enjoy our own personal journey in doing up our first home and making it a home.

So now not only am I the contractor I’m also the customer and your gonna get to see all the decisions and finishes we do and possible don’t agree on 😊

Busy Busy !!!

What can we say, its such a pleasure to transform something old and dated into something a customer loves again.

This old Indian sandstone patio was defiantly feeling sorry for itself, but now as you can see its ready for action, the pictures really don't do it justice.

We fully cut out all the old joints , re-laid all the loose and wobbly paving, given it a full biocide clean and jet wash and re pointed it all in Natural Nexus Pro joint.

New works !

Question,,,,,,, Can we cut a hole in that wall ?
Answer,,,,,,, Absolutely !

So after an inspection in the loft to investigate if the wall was load bearing or not we gave the good news of it not being load bearing.

To the customer request we marked out the opening and formed the new, dry lined and plastered ready for painting.

Even though this house was in the middle of a cosmetic refurb we took the time to cover up and seal up all openings while carrying out our part in the project.

We wish the new home owners all the best in there new home and look forward to future projects.

Latest little project.

So firstly thank you to returning customers its nice working with people that feel they can come back to you time and time again.

This garden overhaul was an absolute pleasure to carry out, we demolished the old shed, ripped up the old decking and re laid new Astro turf, we also turned the power supply into an external socket.

The decking was renewed but with cost in mind we tried to keep as much of the old structure as possible but sometimes you've got to do what's right and start again.

Big thanks to Jaime Baldwin of Electrical Solutions SE Ltd for dealing with all our electrical problems, as always a please to deal with.
