After, before and during pictures. This customer wanted a natural landscape (apart from the building regs stair case, composite deck and close board fence)… Oak sleepers, hoggin and Chestnut used to create a simple landscape in a very steep, small Lewes garden. Usual situation in Lewes, no access so everything through the house.

After, before and during. These steps create a natural and unique entrance to the house and new patio. A few of these stones weighed in at a ton. Recycled stone from the garden used for the walls. Planting still to come.

Salary: £20k - £30k dependent on experience
Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00 (with an hour’s lunch break). Optional weekend working – overtime available.
We are looking for a dedicated, hard-working person to join our small team based in Polegate. The person must have a motivation to learn and desire to develop a career within the landscaping industry. You will be responsible for performing tasks to aid daily operations on-site with the opportunity to enhance your skill set in groundworks, fencing and tree surgery. You will be working across various landscaping sites within East Sussex, ensuring all services are delivered to a high standard which meets client expectations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- General labouring to include: Mixing concrete, keeping site tidy, cutting stone and moving aggregate
- General landscaping assistance to include fencing, laying paving, planting, turfing, groundworks and other small landscaping duties
Essentials:
- Labouring experience in landscaping and / or fencing
- Competent in using power tools
- Good customer service
- Enjoys being outdoors
- Full UK Drivers licence
- Car for travel
- GCSE, A-Level or other qualifications (higher / further education diplomas)
- Minimum 18 years old
Desirable:
- Basic knowledge in operating machinery
- Basic chainsaw ticket (CS30 / CS31)
- Trailer license
- CSCS card or other Health and Safety qualification
- First aid trained
Permanent contract with 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays. Can discuss self-employment for the right candidate.

Soak-away installation in Eastbourne with some restricted access (back in the summer when it was dry 😢). We first carried out percolation tests to determine the absorption rate of the soil. Results are used along with the catchment/run off area, 1 in 100 year storm etc to work out the volume of soak-away needed. This one was 8 cubic meters. Sediment traps were installed to help prolong the life of the soak-away. obviously delivered with the muckaway.

A renovated driveway from last summer with some extra drainage. Pavers and granite setts used for edging, Azpects Easy Grid system finished in Cotswold chippings.
